Who we are: 

Unite Colorado Springs is a grassroots, progressive and independent organization dedicated to uniting, invigorating, and empowering the Colorado Springs community to affect positive change in our beloved home.  It’s about time, don’t you think?  Using petitions, direct action on the ground, letters to the editor, digital campaigns, and more to promote positive change in our community, together we will FINALLY organize and execute solutions to long ignored issues in our region as defined and guided by YOU the people! 

 

What we’ve done:

UCOS has demanded action from the Department of Justice in response to the Planned Parenthood shooting, achieved leadership change in the Democratic National Committee, stood with Standing Rock, and is currently developing strategies to move forward post-2016 election.

 

Why you should care:

UCOS seeks to expand the scope of our activities to make tangible change in a stagnant progressive movement.  Will you contribute to our next trailblazing venture?

Where your money goes:

All funds raised will go towards implementing UCOS’ 2017 Strategic Plan!  

Unite Colorado Springs will continue with the following actions in addition to developing new, innovative methods to affect change.

• Endorsing sensible candidates with pragmatic solutions that help all, not just the privileged few  

• Advocating for implementation of solutions rather than just talk about solutions

• Educating and engaging YOU the people

• Petition, petition, petition (they work!)

• Showing up for our community and marginalized groups

• Research

• Digital campaigns

• Collaborating and cooperating with other organizations
